Wednesday Research Blitz
Your mission is to use the Internet or the school library to track down and capture as many photos and stories you can about:
- the research subjects (yours or others.)
- life in Missoula in the period of 1880-1900 that would be of interest to kids living at that time
See the Document called Leads for Stories and Photos on the project website for some ideas.
Once you find these gems, capture them by scanning, saving to a flashdrive, printing, dropping them in Dropbox (password will be provided in class), or sharing them on a Google doc.
Share good websites on Diigo.
Be sure to label everything so we know what it is and include where you got the information. Attach your name somewhere so we contact you if we have questions.
If you find sources for interesting stories or want to leave notes, put them in the shared Google doc called Background Information. There is one for each subject called (Subject’s Name) Background Information.
The LiveBinder on the Project Website can get you started. Look at the Bibliography List for titles that may be in the library.
Then PLEASE keep the blitz going whenever you can so we can get enough material in the next 2 weeks to start our stories for the video.
